I’m a personal trainer with a passion for travel. I strive to workout every day, whether its at the gym, on vacation, or at home squeezing in some exercise during my son’s naps. I love to run, but I have found that complementary workouts like yoga, barre, cycling and strength training have made me a better, more well rounded athlete as they reduce overuse injuries, increase flexibility and shorten recovery time.
I believe that getting your blood pumping is the quickest way to a better mood and feeling a sense of accomplishment. Exercise can be a fun and rewarding part of your day and doesn't require equipment or a gym, if those are not available nor of interest to you. There are plenty of workouts that can be done outdoors or with a few feet of empty floor space. These workouts are not just for runners, but for anyone looking to try something new or for motivation to start or restart your routine. You'll also find details on active vacations and ways to keep up your while traveling.
